It is with great sadness we learn of the death of Norwegian Scottish Association committee member, Louise Wallace. Louise, a radiographer by training who worked for a spell in Norway, will be fondly remembered by many in the Norwegian-Scottish community for her warm and fun personality. Dedicated to her committee work and regularly making the journey from her Selkirk home to Association meetings in Edinburgh – Louise named her house ‘Maihaugen’ after the beautiful museum park in Lillehammer – she will be hugely missed.
We send our condolences to Louise’s family.
The funeral was held in Melrose on Friday 25th February.
